The following members were present in the ReadAssist Chatroom at aim.com:
Chair called meeting to order at 1:00 PM CST, November 4, 2006, and declared a quorum. All relevant documentation regarding this Board will be kept by the Communications Officer & Recorder.
J. Dorsett previous suggested ReadAssist renew the domain name ReadAssist.org for five years for $99.95 and so moved. Cochran seconded. Motion passed. Lasker and J.Dorsett's name will be added to Keith McComb's for access to the RA website.
J. Dorsett is working on the tax-exempt application and may request writing help from other board members.
Poggiani and Dailey have draft press releases ready for the webscription roll-out. Waiting for Toni's blessing and as soon as Baen.com posts theirs, RA's will go up as well as distribution to other SF reader groups.
Chair asked if there was anything from the subcommittee on scholarships. Tabled to next meeting.
Next RA meeting is scheduled for December 9, 2006, 12 noon PST (2 PM CST).
Dailey moved to adjourn. Cochran seconded. Passed by majority vote.

The application form was put on the website in late September. It has been tested, and passed those tests.
New sites to be linked to are being gathered.

Two persons asked for more bookmarks, to pass out at conventions they were going to. Bookmarks, minifliers, and buttons were sent.

Two press releases have been written and submitted to Communications. After Baen has issued its release, and WebScriptions has added a link to the form on its website, ReadAssist can issue its release and add a link on its website.
